We had an awesome weekend going out to shows all around the Boston area. Friday night’s loft show with Idiot Genes, Creaturos, Johns and Pile was pummeling and hot…on Saturday we went to Starlab Fest and baked ourselves in the rippin’ chops of Phantom Glue, St. Ripper, Thunderbloods, The Fagettes, & more, and then on Sunday it was Kylsea and White Hills to finally round out our sonic bliss.
Tomorrow night, we are playing at Great Scott with west-coast shoegazers, Nightmare Air. Sleep Studies opens the show with their ambient rock. The Weekly Dig did this little write up about it. They think you should go and we do too. This will be a most excellent way to spend your Tuesday night.
Tonight at Great Scott, we play the pill – a long-standing dance night here in Boston. We are psyched to share and explode the stage with Austin-rockers, Ringo Deathstarr. DJs Ken + Michael V will kick out the jams, once we’ve obliterated the place. Should be a good scene.
We will have the new album for sale, four days before the official release date. We hope those of you in the area will join us. The plan is to play Vanished in its entirety (with a few surprises). Our set will take you on a space trip. Upon re-entry and landing, you may find yourself in the desert alone, but you’ll like it. The show is 18+, $10 in advance, and $12 at the door. You can buy tickets here and RSVP on the facebook event here.
Here it is, dropped straight down from the otherworld, the second single off of our upcoming release, Vanished, out May 14th.
From cmj.com, “The six-minute track is a bewitching slab of snapping bass, epic drums, death-cult-choir vocals and desert-rock guitar lines that untangle themselves as the song progresses. It’s head music shot through with enough rhythm to keep you from drifting off into the dark recesses of your subconscious.”

On Thursday, March 21st we are packing up a van and heading out on the road. We’re going as far south as Richmond and as far west as Cleveland. Hope we get to catch you along the way. We will be meeting up with Midday Veil, west coast psych/drone multimedia ensemble, on a bunch of the dates along the route.
We have new songs for you. As well as tshirts, record bags, and a special surprise merch item for those lucky enough to get their asses to one of these shows.
